At this time, I do not accept insurance, however, in some cases you may be eligible to use out-of-network insurance benefits. You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at time of appointment.

I work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. They offer a free quick benifits check below and if you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed.

Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation. If you prefer to complete this without Mentaya, I am happy to provide you a monthly superbill.

Questions You May Have

  • I work out of The Commons office space which is located at 5000 Johnson Drive Suite D, Mission, Kansas 66205. Parking can be found around the building on the North, East, South, and West sides of the building. The office is located on the second floor, up a flight of stairs. In order to accommodate for additional accessibility needs, virtual sessions or a second location can be happily provided upon request. If we aren’t a good fit please check out the other clinicians at The Commons!

  • No, Build and Bloom is considered an out of network provider. I can provide you with a Super-bill that you’re able to submit to your health insurance for reimbursement. Coverage approval is based on individual insurance plans and medical necessity.

Questions to consider asking your insurance to best understand what they may cover:

What percentage do you reimburse for outpatient, out of network therapy?

What is my out of network deductible?

What are my in-network vs. out-of-network benefits?

How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

What diagnoses are covered? (some insurance only covers specific diagnosis)

Is a referral required from my primary care physician?

  • If something comes up and you are unable to attend in person, we can always switch our appointment to virtual. I require 24 hours notice for cancellation and rescheduling. If you are unable to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment date and time, you will be charged the session fee. I will always do my best to reschedule you for the same week.

  • I recognize that therapy is a time and financial investment and I am willing to be as flexible as possible toward your needs. I recommend weekly sessions and a commitment of about six months to build a strong therapeutic relationship and create lasting change. This is something that can be reviewed and adjusted on a on going basis.

I have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
